NAI FMA Realty is pleased to announce that John Hyland II has joined its Sales and Leasing division as a Sales Associate. He will assist companies in all areas of commercial real estate brokerage.

Hyland comes to NAI FMA after 40 years of working in the lumber industry. He started his working career before college at Hyland Brothers, Inc. and Engineered Lumber Systems and worked his way through many positions in the company leading up to taking ownership and being the Chief Operating Officer. Following the sale of his company to Millard Lumber, Inc., Hyland served as the Vice President of Operations before taking the position of Vice President-Special Projects where he evaluated potential sites and facilities in an effort to move both the Lincoln and Omaha divisions into larger more efficient facilities. He then acted as the owner’s representative in the design and creation of the new plants and facilitated the move of both the Lincoln and Omaha divisions’ operations into newly acquired and renovated locations.

Hyland has generously shared his talents and leadership with the Lincoln community, serving on numerous committees and boards of directors. Hyland’s past service has included being on the boards of the Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, the Home Builders Association of Lincoln, and the Nebraska Lumber Dealers Association among others.
